Please read carefully. By purchasing a membership, registering on our waitlist, or entering the venue, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not proceed.

01

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Member" or "Guest") and TheHF LLC, a New York limited liability company operating as The House of Football ("we," "us," or "the Club"). They govern your access to and use of our website at thehf.nyc, our membership programme, and your physical attendance at the venue.

By completing a membership purchase, submitting a waitlist registration, or entering the venue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with any additional rules posted at the venue.

02

About the Club

The House of Football is a members-only, pop-up viewing club operating exclusively for the duration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The venue is located in Flatiron, Manhattan, New York City. The Club operates from the Opening Match (June 11, 2026) through the Final (July 19, 2026), subject to scheduling changes by FIFA or applicable authorities.

The Club is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any national football federation, or any broadcaster. All match broadcasts are licensed through appropriate commercial agreements.

Participating Nations

Memberships are available for supporters of the following ten nations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Switzerland, and the United States. Nation assignments are final at the time of purchase and cannot be transferred or changed.

03

Membership

Eligibility

  • You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase a full membership (alcohol included).
  • Members must provide valid government-issued photo ID upon request at any point during their visit.
  • Membership is personal and non-transferable. Your membership cannot be sold, gifted, or assigned to another individual.

What Membership Includes

  • Guaranteed entry to all group-stage matches of your selected nation, subject to the venue's operating hours and any force majeure events.
  • Designated seating or standing section aligned with your nation's supporter group.
  • Access to bar and food services (sold separately at the venue unless otherwise specified in your membership tier).
  • Priority access to knock-out stage match events as communicated by the Club.

Waitlist

Registering on our waitlist is free and does not guarantee a membership. Waitlist positions do not confer any rights to entry, pricing, or nation selection. We will contact you in waitlist order when memberships become available for your nation.

Nation Sections

The Club assigns a dedicated section of the venue to each participating nation. Members are asked to remain in or near their designated section during matches. We reserve the right to ask members to relocate if their conduct disrupts the experience of other sections. Nation section layouts may vary by match based on operational needs.

04

Payments & Refunds

Pricing

Membership fees and per-match ticket prices are published on the website and are subject to change before purchase. All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. By making a payment, you authorise us to charge the stated amount to your chosen payment method. We do not store your full payment card details.

All sales are final. Membership fees and match tickets are non-refundable except as required by applicable New York law, or in the event that the Club cancels an event without rescheduling.

Event Cancellation by the Club

If the Club cancels a specific match event and is unable to reschedule it, affected members will receive a credit toward future events or, if the Club itself ceases operations, a pro-rated refund based on unused match dates. We are not responsible for match cancellations, postponements, or rescheduling by FIFA or any governing body, and no refund will be issued in such circumstances unless the Club is also unable to show the rescheduled match.

No-Shows

Membership fees are not refunded for failure to attend. Entry rights for any given match are forfeited if you do not arrive within 30 minutes of kick-off, after which any unused capacity may be made available to guests at the Club's discretion.

05

Access & Entry

Proof of Membership

You must present a valid membership confirmation (digital or printed) along with a government-issued photo ID to gain entry. The name on your membership must match the ID presented. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide matching documentation.

Capacity

The venue operates as a standing-room experience with a maximum capacity set in accordance with New York City fire and safety regulations. Membership guarantees entry for group-stage matches of your nation unless the venue reaches its legally mandated capacity due to extraordinary circumstances, in which case we will accommodate members in order of arrival.

Right to Refuse Entry

The Club reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry to any individual who:

  • Is visibly intoxicated upon arrival or during their visit.
  • Behaves in a threatening, abusive, or disorderly manner.
  • Violates these Terms or any rules posted at the venue.
  • Attempts to enter with prohibited items (see Section 6).
  • Is under the age of 21 and not accompanied by a legal guardian (where applicable under NY law).

No refund will be issued in the event of refused or revoked entry due to a breach of these Terms.

06

Code of Conduct

The House of Football is built on passion, respect, and the shared love of the game. We expect every member and guest to uphold that spirit.

Expected Behaviour

  • Treat all members, staff, and guests with dignity and respect regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, or any other characteristic.
  • Celebrate your nation loudly — but within the bounds of good sportsmanship. Taunting or demeaning rival supporters is not in the spirit of the Club.
  • Follow all instructions from Club staff, security personnel, and venue management at all times.
  • Report any safety concerns immediately to a member of staff.

Prohibited Items & Behaviour

  • Weapons, flares, or any item that may constitute a safety hazard.
  • Outside alcohol or food brought into the venue (unless pre-approved).
  • Discriminatory, racist, homophobic, or otherwise hateful language or displays.
  • Physical altercations or the incitement of violence.
  • Unauthorised commercial activity, touting, or resale of membership passes within or near the venue.
  • Professional filming or recording for commercial use without written consent from the Club.

Ejection & Bans

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in immediate ejection from the venue without refund. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from the Club and may be referred to law enforcement.

Photography & Social Media

Personal photography and social media sharing are welcome and encouraged. By sharing content that includes the Club's branding or other members, you agree that the Club may repost or share such content for promotional purposes with appropriate credit. You must obtain consent before photographing other members in a way that clearly identifies them.

07

Alcohol Service

Bar operations at the venue are managed by a licensed catering and bar service partner. All alcohol service is subject to New York State Liquor Authority regulations and the terms of the applicable liquor licence held by the operating partner.

  • You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
  • Valid photo ID will be required before any alcohol is served.
  • The Club and its catering partner reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any person who appears visibly intoxicated or who cannot produce valid ID.
  • Members and guests are responsible for their own alcohol consumption. Please drink responsibly.
  • Last orders will be called in accordance with applicable licensing conditions.

The Club does not accept any liability for the actions of guests who become intoxicated. If you feel unwell, please speak to a member of staff immediately.

08

Liability & Disclaimers

Assumption of Risk

By entering the venue, you acknowledge that attendance at a high-energy, standing-room sporting event carries inherent risks, including physical contact, noise, and crowd movement. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, TheHF LLC, its members, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your membership or attendance at the venue, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of property, or loss of enjoyment.

Our total aggregate liability to any member shall not exceed the amount paid by that member for their membership.

Loss of Personal Property

The Club is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal property brought to the venue. Please keep your belongings with you at all times.

Force Majeure

The Club will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, government orders, public health emergencies, fire, flooding, power outages, civil unrest, or broadcasting failures by third parties.

Broadcast Disruptions

While we take every reasonable step to ensure reliable match broadcasts, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted coverage due to factors outside our control (signal loss, FIFA broadcast restrictions, technical failures). In such cases, no refund will be issued unless the match is entirely unavailable and cannot be shown within a reasonable period.

09

Privacy

We collect personal information — including your name, email address, nation preference, and payment details — in order to process your membership and communicate with you about Club events. We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

By registering or purchasing a membership, you consent to receiving transactional emails regarding your membership and match schedule. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time.

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

For any data-related queries, contact us at info@thehf.nyc.

10

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email at least 7 days before taking effect. Your continued use of Club services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The current version will always be available at thehf.nyc/terms-of-service.

If we make changes that materially and adversely affect your membership rights, you may cancel your membership and receive a pro-rated refund for unused match dates by notifying us within 14 days of the change notification.

11

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your membership shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at info@thehf.nyc to seek an informal resolution. We will respond within 10 business days.
